MAROCCAN COUSCOUS


250 gr semolina or couscous grain

4 chicken legs

4 merguez, spicy mutton sausage

4 carrots

2 turnips

2 tomatoes

2 zuchinnis

1 teaspoon of tomato paste

1 small can of chick peas

ras el hanout spice, which is the mixture of a bit of :

cardamon, cinnamon, black pepper, curcuma, chilli powder, ginger powder, garlic powder, clove, nutmeg

How to make :

  1. Prepare the couscous grain, I used instant one, that I boiled and mix with a bit of butter
  2. Boil the chicken with all the ingredients, simmer in low heat for 20 minutes
  3. Put the merguez at the end, continue simmer for another 5 minutes, until merguez cooked through
  4. Serve hot with semolina grains
