DID YOU TELL A LIE TODAY ?

Have you ever tell a lie?

How often you tell lies ?

How is your feeling about it?

The answer may vary from one another. And I myself will answer I tell lies quite often and I'm feeling guilty about it.

I guess people say I'm honest or even naive but I still tell lies. So, I wonder why people tell lies and the answer is our FEARS.

Fears of having conflict : to some degree we are afraid of having argument

Fears of rejection : feeling insecured sometimes the reason of lying each other. Many people want to be popular in the community therefor they lie.

Fears of punishment : just like when we were at school, we lied to avoid the punishment.

Fears of harm : to protect and to prevent harm to yourself

My first encounter with a big liar was couple years ago, when I started working. My colleague was telling lie after lie that sometimes she even confused about it but I can tell she seemed very happy if we were amazed by her stories. But when I learnt more about her childhood (which was not told by her of course, but by her family frined) I started to understand. Living only with her mom, while her daddy busy with many girl friends and the only thing he did to my colleagues was giving her money each time he asked about what the mother's doing. Each time her answer was satisfy the father, she will get a lot of pocket money. So for this case, is not the fear but it's to BENEFIT from other people.
