Chicken 'Peking Duck Style'


Ingredients :
1 Chicken of 1,2 kg
Star Anise powder
1 tablespoon cinammon
50 gram of chopped fresh ginger
1 Minced Onion

Topping :
3 tablespoon Honey
2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
3 tablespoon Soja sauce
1 teaspoon 5 spices
1 tablespoon White wine
1 tablespoon Ginger
2 tablespoon Chopped Garlic
3 tablespoon Sesame oil can be replaced by vegetable oil

How to make :
  • Pour boiling water to the surface of chicken to melt the fat
  • Cook the topping about 2 minutes
  • Put cinammon, star anise powder and chopped ginger on the surface
  • Brush with Topping
  • Cook in heated oven 220°C for about 1 hour.
  • Served with steamed rice
  • Can be served with Chinese Pancake
