RATATOUILLE French Sautée vegetable

Yes, it's the same name as the film, but it has nothing to do with the rat... It's a typical food from the South of France in the mediteranean sea.

Ingredients :

2 egglant, cut into dice 

1 zuchinni, peel cut into pieces about the same size as the eggplant

3 tomatoes, soak in boiled water & peel the skin, chunk without seed

1 yellow pepper (can put other color, but yellow give nice color though)

1 medium onion, minced

1 bay leaf

a bit of thyme

salt & pepper

2 tablespoon of olive oil

tomato sauce or tomato paste if needed

How to make :

  1. Stir fry the pepper & onion until transparent
  2. Add zuchinni, cook for 3 minutes, then add the eggplant, cook until eggplant is transparent
  3. Put salt & pepper, then the tomatoes, add more tomato sauce or tomato paste mix with half cups of water to make more juice
  4. Cook until all the vegetables are tender. Serve preferrable with poultry product.
